Switzerland Wine Travel Guide

The Smart Traveller’s Wine Guide: Switzerland (co-written with Marc Checkley) will be published on October 8th 2025. This pocket book is an accessible and comprehensive guide to the wines of Switzerland. Like the other books in the series from the Academie du Vin Library, it tells you where to go and what to see when it comes to wine. There are comprehensive listings of restaurants, hotels, wine bars, wine shops and more. It covers all six wine regions, the main grape varieties and wine styles as well as sections on events and festivals and Swiss cheese. Above all, this book opens readers’ eyes: the newcomer will be introduced to the wonders of Swiss wine, while the seasoned traveller will see Switzerland through the lens of wine.
